This collaborative project speculates about the futures of urban mobility by reimagining vehicles as an interface between humans and the environment through history and creative media storytelling.

Recognition and Awards


Students retain the intellectual property rights to their project outcomes and agree to showcase their work for further on-site & online exhibitions and publications.

Certificate A certificate of completion will be provided.
Course Credit A one course credit for DAAP Interdisciplinary Topics will be granted (ungraded).
Scholarship Award The first prize team members will receive a total of $2000 scholarship. 
Interview for Internship The second prize team members will be given an interview opportunity for the UX studio’s spring or summer internship in 2025.
Exhibition Selected works will be exhibited in the UC Digital Futures building and the Hyundai Motor Group’s UX studio Irvine grand opening ceremony.
